What Vislan is

Vislan is an AI character roleplay platform built for long-running fictional stories. Instead of treating each reply as an isolated prompt, Vislan is designed around persistent character psychology, story memory, personas and evolving relationships.

Users can discover characters created for different fictional settings or build their own. A character can be warm, difficult, proud, guarded, chaotic, affectionate or hostile when that personality is part of the character design. The goal is consistency, not turning every character into the same agreeable assistant.

How the experience works

1. Choose who you are

Your persona represents you inside a story. It can contain a name, appearance, traits, writing style and background details relevant to roleplay.

2. Choose who you meet

Characters have their own names, appearances, personality traits, history, morals, fears, goals, lore and opening scenario.

3. Let the story accumulate

Important events, promises, relationship changes and other durable facts may be stored so later conversations can build on what already happened.

Product principles

Character fidelity: characters should remain recognizable rather than becoming generically helpful.
Causal emotion: feelings should affect behavior through personality, instincts and values.
Memory with attribution: narration, dialogue, user actions, character actions and world events should not be casually mixed together.
User control: users can choose personas, characters and memories rather than having the product silently decide the entire relationship for them.
Fiction with boundaries: imagination is welcome, but real people, privacy, safety and public-community rules still matter.

What the AI is not

Vislan characters are generated software experiences. They are not conscious people, licensed professionals, emergency services, therapists, doctors, lawyers or financial advisers. A convincing fictional relationship should not be mistaken for a real-world obligation, promise or professional relationship.

Free and Pro

Vislan may offer free access with usage limits and advertising on eligible non-chat surfaces, alongside a paid Pro plan with higher limits and no ads. Exact limits and benefits are displayed inside the product and can change as the service evolves.

Brand and copyright

Vislan’s original interface, branding, product copy, platform code and original promotional assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. User-created characters and other user content remain subject to the rights and licenses described in the Terms of Service.
