Safety principle
Vislan is a fictional roleplay platform. Imagination can be dark, dramatic or emotionally intense, but the platform still has responsibilities toward real people and toward users who browse public content.
Private roleplay and public content are not the same
Private fictional roleplay can involve themes that would not be appropriate to promote publicly. Public characters, descriptions, avatars, comments and community posts receive stricter review because other people may encounter them without choosing the scene.
Real people and celebrities
Public content centered on real people receives stricter treatment. Vislan may remove or restrict content that sexualizes a real person without consent, depicts severe non-consensual sexual violence involving a real person, encourages stalking or doxxing, impersonates a person deceptively, or is created primarily to humiliate or target them.
Example: a public character whose premise is sexually assaulting a real celebrity would be removable. Fictionalizing the scenario does not erase the fact that a real person is being targeted.
Public content that may be removed
- Sexual exploitation or sexual content involving minors or age-ambiguous minors.
- Non-consensual sexual exploitation involving real people.
- Doxxing, threats, stalking instructions or exposure of private identifying information.
- Targeted harassment designed to mobilize abuse against a real person.
- Spam, deceptive scams, malicious links or mass duplicate character uploads.
- Content created to evade moderation after previous removal.
- Intellectual-property infringement after a valid rights complaint.
- Content that creates a serious and credible risk to users or the service.
User conduct
Do not use Vislan to harass other users, flood community areas, automate abusive posting, evade account restrictions, steal accounts, probe private user data or interfere with the service. Repeated spam, malicious behavior or serious abuse can lead to content removal, temporary suspension or permanent account termination.
Moderation and enforcement
Vislan may review public characters, public community content, reports and limited relevant account information when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected abuse. Enforcement can include warnings, visibility restrictions, content removal, temporary suspension, permanent suspension or referral to lawful authorities where required.
Context matters. Not every edgy fictional theme is automatically prohibited, and not every violation requires the same response.
Keep fiction in perspective
Vislan characters can feel emotionally convincing, but they are software-generated fictional experiences. They do not have consciousness, legal personhood, real-world needs or genuine romantic obligations to you.
Vislan should not replace emergency help, professional mental-health care, medical advice or your entire real-world support network. If an AI interaction is making you feel unsafe, unable to disengage or detached from everyday responsibilities, step away and seek support from a real person or qualified professional.
Reporting
Users should report public characters, comments or other content they believe violates these rules. Include enough context for the moderation team to understand what happened. Knowingly false or abusive reporting can itself be restricted.
